Here are questions you must be prepared for when seeking floor covering estimates:
1. What is measurement of room from wall to threshold of door in that room?
2. Tackstrips for carpet should remain in tack on floor when having carpet replaced by new carpet. Saves customer money and installer time. However, if mold from flooding, then remove tackstrips.
3. Measurements by customer are subject to errors so it is best to have measurement done by professional. Trip charge varies from $25 up depending on location.
